  played it, got as far as you could really go without paying for it, and left.

       Play a real game, my recommendations (if you have a good computer):

         Crossfire-   there are other first-person shooters, but this is the newest one and has the least amount of hackers.

      Perfect world:    good, free MMORPG    there is a cash-shop, but it's not overpowered, so all round it's a really good free MMO.  

     also, Shen Megami Tensei    looks good, but I haven't gotten far enough in it to really say :/

btw wat lvl were u in runescape? like combat lvl? 

 
            I had one account that was around lvl 80,   I had a high enough mining level to get into the mining guild (I don't remember how high though), very high fishing and cooking levels, and some amount of pretty much every skill. I also had full black armor with gold trim (hard to get). My other account was a high level pure mage......  so I pretty much went as far as you could without paying for it. This was back when my computer was to crappy to play anything else really.

     One day I was just like "I'm tired of playing this shiit"  and gave both accounts away to the first person that would actually believe I was giving both accounts away, lol.

    ^ Combat arms is better than crossfire, it also has a ridiculous amount of hackers, I think I mentioned that.  OP7, Warrock, the list goes on, they're all good, but they all have to many hackers to be enjoyable.

         Perfect World is one of the best FREE mmorpg's, free being the key word.

So not true... I quit it at lvl 83 WF with pheonix because it was starting to get ridiculous... You were playing MY:EN or Int?

I had a level 8, something like 20 wood cutting and probably the worst level in everything else. I found wood cutting more fun than anything else in it. That doesn't say a lot for the game(and no, woodcutting was not very fun either). Honestly, how can you keep playing that game? It's very repetetive(leastways, as far as I remember).

used to play, but haven't played in likea year. then i saw this thread and played again today. it's wierd.level 49

Runescape-.- Switch to perfect world. Runescape lags my computer more than Perfect World on low settings. And Perfect World is much better :) Although I barely have time for anything online these days -.-

Im guessing all the people who keep bringing Perfect World up saying its a free mmo are low level on it... Perfect World is far from free..
